The date for the annual NY-USA Section XI Fall Meeting and elections has
been set for 7:00PM, Tuesday, November 18th at the Sachem North HS
Cafeteria.
The primary objective of this meeting is the election of the Section XI
board, which currently consists of Chairman, Kids Director, Junior
Director and Cadet Director. These positions are voted on by the
membership - one vote per club - as per the by-laws of NY-USA Wrestling.
There is no pre-determined slate of candidates, nominations are made
from the floor. Candidates are not required to attend the meeting, but
it would be most helpful if they did, since it would be beneficial to
know should a nominee be elected that they would serve.
Please make every effort to attend this meeting, if that is not possible
please send one member of your club to act as your proxy at the meeting.
If there is absolutely no one available from your club to attend the
meeting, please call me at 631-893-4148.
Any vote where more than one candidate is nominated will be conducted by
secret written ballot. The election will be run by Ed Gould, NY-USAW
State Chairman or his designate from the NY-USA Board.
